The A330 MRTT (Multi Role Tanker Transport) is based on the successful A330-200, a medium-to long range, twin aisle, twin engine, commercial aircraft of the Airbus family.
Capable of refuelling all current and planned allied aircraft using boom or hose and drogue refuelling systems: ARBS, under-wing pods and Fuselage Refuelling Unit.
A true Multi Role capability, the A330 MRTT can perform during the same mission along with AAR the following roles: Passenger and/or cargo transport, and/or Medevac.
To meet all the modern requirements, the A330 MRTT integrates a complete communications, navigation, flight management and protection suite, and a choice of motorization.
